ALURES NTS Experimental Methods Browser

The ALURES NTS Experimental Methods Browser is an interactive web tool that enables exploration and analysis of data on experimental methods used in neuroscience research with mouse models across Europe. The underlying data were extracted from Non-Technical Summaries (NTS) submitted to the EU ALURES database using Large Language Models (LLMs). These data were then organized into a structured taxonomy and curated by experts from the VICT3R consortium.

The resulting expert-curated taxonomy classifies information into experimental paradigms, procedures, tests, and data acquisition methods, offering a comprehensive overview of methodological practices in basic neuroscience research. Through interactive visualizations, including predefined plots and co-occurrence network diagrams, users can identify patterns, compare methodological trends, and gain insights into how experimental designs vary across different areas of neuroscience research.
